Frankenmuth's Social District
The newly launched Frankenmuth Social District invites visitors to experience a unique way of enjoying Michigan's Little Bavaria. Open from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily, this district allows patrons to purchase alcoholic beverages from participating bars and restaurants and enjoy them while strolling through designated commons areas.
How It Works
In the Social District, guests can enjoy drinks in special Frankenmuth cups, available only at participating establishments. Look for the blue window decal at local bars and restaurants to know where you can buy and carry your drinks. However, note that these beverages cannot be brought into other businesses displaying a red decal or those that also sell alcohol.
District Rules and Guidelines
To maintain a fun and safe environment, beverages must be kept within the clearly marked commons area of the Social District. Maps and boundary signs are provided to help you stay within these limits, and it is important to dispose of your cup responsibly before leaving the district. Public restrooms are conveniently located at the Frankenmuth Visitor Center.
Participating Businesses
There are numerous participating venues, including St. Julian Winery, Zehnder's of Frankenmuth, and Frankenmuth Brewery. Each offers a variety of drinks for you to enjoy while exploring the charming surroundings of Frankenmuth. Whether you're in the mood for wine, beer, or a cocktail, the Social District offers something for everyone.
Explore Frankenmuth Your Way
The Social District not only allows you to savor drinks while shopping and exploring but also enhances the sense of community in Frankenmuth. It's a new way to connect with local businesses and enjoy the quaint streets of this Bavarian-themed town. Remember to drink responsibly and stay within the designated areas to make the most of your visit.
